It was a huge success. The club contribut ed 10 per cent of the receipts to the Keren Kajemeth. Refreshments were served. The next meeting will be held at the Talmud Torah Saturday evening, August 2. A picnic will be planned. The T. M. T. M. Club held a busi ness meeting at the Talmud Torah Monday, July 31. After the meeting a mock wedding was performed by the following: Jean Frank, Ida Sel cer, Fannie Schwartz, Julia Bermes and Anna Schwartz. The members of the H. H. C. Club had a kid party on Sunday afternoon, August 6, at the home of Miss Lottie Fleisher, 1313 Fourth street north. Among those present were Anna Mark, Sadie Oherhof, Edith Wiener, Sallie Veltowitz, Rose Chodos, Irent Beck, Esther Schemerno, Rose Gold fish, Marian Polis, Ida Levinson, Anna Winerman, Jeanette Berman, and An na Richmond. The Misses Anmi Mark, Sallie Veltowitz, Rose Chodos, and Ida Leyinson were awarded prizes. SAMUEL SILBERMAN, ADJUSTER Mr. Samuel Silberman, for eighteen years a resident of St. Paul and active there as communal worker for the Jewish War Relief, Talmud Torah, and in Congregational life, is now making his home in Minneapolis, where he is engaged in the real estate business. Snydacker have turned over to the Art Institute of Chicago eleven paintings from his famous collection, these to be held by the trustees for the purpose of per manent ownership and exhibition or to be sold. If sold, the proceeds are to be invested by the Art Institute, and the income on the investment is to be used for the maintenance of scholarships in the art school, the scholarships to be named for Mr. Sny dacker, who died October 13, 1920, in Chicago.
