The new Kenya flag of black,
prreen and red with white strip
es, replacing the Union Jack,
lined the streets and hung from
most buildings.
Kenya was the Second British
colony to emerge into statehood
this week erasing from the map
fbe last bit of British territory
in East Africa. Zanzibar, a
