•Socials and JPerSonals To make their home here per manently are Mr. and Mrs. Max Lassman, Michigan, and more re cently of Phoenix. They live on Calle Ensenada. He was an auto dealer. Mrs. Sidelle Schachner spent the holidays as the guest of Mrs. S. Anyos and visited with her son, Clyde. She has been spending some time in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Nat Golub and daughter, Leslie Joan, who for the past few years lived in New York, have returned to Tucson. They are the daughter and son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Stern and are living at 4553 E. 16th. For Mr. and Mrs. E. Harold Levy, who are in Plainfield, N. J., for the summer, the hi-light was the golden wedding jubilee cele bration at a reception-supper at Temple Sholom with 150 guests attending. Enroute home they will be honored at a luncheon in Den ver, to be given by Rabbi Charles Kauver, who married the couple there 50 years ago. Their children honored them at a dinner the eve ning previous to the reception. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Harold Simon, residents of Tucson for several months, are strong boosters for our climate, knowing what it has done for their son, Michael 7. They are formerly of Kansas City, Mo., where he was associated with the Simon Enterprises, wholesale jewelers. They live on E. 10th. Mr. and Mrs. S. Tovey, former residents, now living in Denver, asked the Sam Sterns to remem ber them to their friends. The Sterns visited them recently. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wein sheink (Mollie Candiotti) are vis iting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Candiotti. He is stationed at Paso Robles, Calif. . Mrs. Rebecca Potter returned after spending the summer, as usual, in New York. Max Glaser was at the coast during the past few months. New arrivals several days ago are Mr. and Mrs. Abe Frishman, Liberty, N. Y. He was in the gar age business. Now living perma nently at 521 N. Forgeus, they are friends of the Charles Broders. Mr. and Mrs. William Malsh ar rived last month from Palo Alto and have purchased a home at 451 Thoreau Road. Highland. Saul Kaplan has been dis charged from the Air Force after serving four years, two of which were spent in Alaska. He will re-enter UA. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kaplan, E. Mojave, are out of town. Mr. Kaplan is vis iting a sick brother in the east and she is at the coast. Mrs. Philip Bramson is expected home from Chicago after the holi days. The David Whitakers re turned Thursday, having been gone since June to San Diego, and are glad to be back. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kaufman are back from an extended trip east. After four and a half months motoring from the east to the west coast, Mr. and Mrs. Max Sherman, N.
