Delay Os Court
Hit By Editor
FOREST PARK, Pa.—Har
ry Golden, editor of the
Carolina Israelite of Char
lotte, N.C. said here that the
delay in complying with the
Supreme Court decisions to
end racial segragation in the
public schools is “keeping the
best minds of the South from
contributing to the real prob
lems of the world.”
Addressing the 300 national
labor leaders attending the
Third National Conference of
the Trade Union Council for
Human Rights of the Jewish
Labor Committee at Unity
House, Mr. Golden said that
the “real victims of the anti
segregation drive are not
alone the Negroes but the
Southern white community.
The South has produced
some of the most creative
minds in the American civili
zation, but they are now 1 pre
occupied with this problem
and aren’t thinking of Ameri
can foreign policy, or the ex
pansion of the industrial and
educational processes, or the
over-all strategy of the free
world against statism and
iiscovcry of evidence of a
system of Jewish agriculture

an end this week to a per

groaners in which they
gave Nazi salutes and
shouted “Heil Hitler.”
It was a routine proce

the team, ostensibly made
up of two Germans, to
announce: “We are Ger

race. We don’t want to stay
in America where we re

Norman Shavin, TV-radio
editor of the Atlanta Jour

from Howard Haire, secre

Commission, who said the
wrestlers’ act was designed
to make people hate them
but there was nothing in
rules for professional
wrestling against the act.
He added he thought the
