Clarkfv Jr. were received membership in the Aid. The surprice of the afternoon was on Mrs. Walter Katarzy and Mrs. Feed Clark, Jr„ when a life-size tork was brought into the room. Before each lady a cradle was plac d filled with many appropriate and practical gifts from the ladies the aid. The cradles were construe ltd by Mrs. Harold Flatt. They were made of card-board and beau iifully decorated with crepe paper. After the gifts had been opened and seen by all the ladies, Mrs. Har old Flatt, hostess, served a tasty: luncheon. Dolly Bowen and Evra Shanholtzer attended Farm Woman's Club at the Nan Smith home Wednesday. Post-war kitchen planning was the project and two interesting talks were given by Mary Smith and Ruth Vanderwood. At noon Nan Smith and Sally Courtright served a delicious meal, A Grange meeting in regard to building a hall was held at Wm. Vanderwood's home Saturday night. Everyone interested in 4-H Club work come out to the meetings to be held by the County Agent, Feb. 14, 15 and 16 in the Community Room. Mrs. Thomas J. Shanholtzer was released from the hospital Thurs day evening and is convalescing at the J. T. Shanholtzer home. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bowen at tended K. V. Grange meeting Wed nesday evening. A very interesting meeting was reported. A planning committee, composed i of Norris Adams, Fred Cloutier, Carl 1 Rawlings, and Max Sturm was ap-} pointed to work on the ideas pre sented and present estimates and items that are possible of accom plishment. Upon arrival the members were delighted to see the new lights on the hill and also a new porch light. The light committee who has labor ed long and faithfully to secure lights for the cabin and hill was Norris Adams, Fred Cloutier, E. M. Davidson and Lee Harmon. Fred Cloutier, E. M. Davidson and Nor ris Adams assisted Dick Powell in stringing the wire on the hill and the members appreciated Mr. Pow ell's donation of time and work. John Ronning, Chris Ramlo and Aimer Fjeseth put up the brackets, reflectors, etc. Norris Adams and Fred Cloutier put up the porch light. To help celebrate the occasion Carlton Joughin assumed the dut ies of chef and concocted a delicious oyster stew that was gustatorily en joyed, accompanied by crackers and coffee. Dumond, Jr. Reverend Toothaker officiated at the late afternoon ceremony while Lohengrin's Wedding March was played as background music. The bride was attired in a blue suit with white accessories and white veiled hat. She wore a gold bracelet which belonged to the grandmother of the groom. Matron of honor and best man were Mrs. Francis Haslam and David W. Dumond, sister and brother of bridegroom. Following the wedding, a dinner was served at Capris in Oakland. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Finch, Eureka, Mont., is a graduate of Eureka High School, spent nne year at Montana State University, taught a rural school for one term and was night nurse at Clark's hospital for four months. Mr. Dumond, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Dumond, Martinez, Calif., re ceived his discharge from the Army January 1, after six years of ser vice.
