The Comunity card party was
attended Saturday night,
tables of Pinochle were

play until midnight when lunch
was served.,, A business meeting
was then held to discuss ways and
means of improving the Community
Hall. A committee of three women
were appointed to take charge
the entertainment and refreshments
for the next community party. Af
ter the business meeting, music was

Rexford Fire District
A meeting of the patrons of
the Rexford First District was held
at the Community Hall Wednesday
night. The purpose of the meet
ing was the election of officers on
the Water Board for the coming
year. The five members of the
Board, Ed Arnold, Wm. Fewkes,
Archie Thompson, Ed Madden and
M. J. Fisher a were re-elected to
serve another year.

jor operation in Whitefish last week.
Bill Fewkes was a business caller
in Kalispeil the fore part of last
week.
Shirley Kins of Warland was a
Saturday visitor at the H. C. Ander
son home.
Gordon Leigh and Ben Hansen
were callers in Kalispell Thursday.
Mrs. Lillian Leighty was a visitor
in Libby, Tuesday of last week.
Bud Williams and Ray Deditius
of Oaksdale, Wash., were callers at
the George Ross home. Saturday
evening.
James Hurst was a business caller
in Whitefish, Monday.
Mrs. Otto Nordstrom and son, of
Kalispell visited at the E. E. Mad
den home the first of the week.
A daughter was born last week
to Mr. and Mrs. Ross Badgley.
