"Jesus Prays for the Unity of His
Church." John 17:18-23. This is
the third and last in a series of
sermons on the High Priestly Pray
er of Jesus.
The question of whether the ELC
should join the world council of
churches will be briefly considered
in connection with this prayer of
Jesus.
The Church School will begin at
9:45 a. m.
The confirmation class meets dur
ing the Church School hour.
The special class meets on Fri
day at the parsonge at 6:30 p. m.
The Junior Ladies' Aid meets
with Mrs. Pete Ramlo as hostess
at her home on Thursday evening
of next week at 7:30.
The Senior Ladies' Aid will meet
at the church on Thursday after
noon of next week. This will be
a pot luck meeting: doughnuts and
coffee will be served.
The church council will meet on
Monday evening of next week at
7:30 at the church. It is important
that all members of the council be
present at this meeting.
