Declared He Would Die in 5 Minâtes.
Earl A. Beeman, a farmer near Fletch

Marshal Denny has started a crusade
against the höbe» which are fast becom
ing a nuisance by begging on the streets
of the city, and started in last night by
gathering in five of the "Weary Willies"
who will be fed on bread and water until
ready for shipment. He says that he is
bound to clear the city of beggars and
tramps and will, as soon as the occasion
demands, place them on the "chain
gang."
This is a determined step in the right
direction and the "hungry boys" will
probably give Lewiston a wide berth in
the future.
The Southern Idaho Mail of Blackfoot
says: "Dr. Poynter has located at Lewis
ton .where we hope he will meet with the
same enviable success which he had in
Blackfoot. The doctor has proved him
self to be one of the most careful and
successful physicians ever located
Bingham county, and the surgical opera
tions he has attended have all turned out
well. The Grove City is loath to lose
him, but our loss is Lewiston's gain.
