tory of the American Red Cross.
After three years of war the work of your Red Cross
is greater than ever. It must serve millions of our fight
ing men abroad. Lonely men. Homesick men. Wounded
men. The Red Cross, always at their side, helps to bring
them cheer and comfort wherever they may he.
It lends a helping hand to the thousands of returning
service men—sick, wounded—desperately in need of
friendly guidance
And remember, YOU ... and you alone»keep the
Red Cross alive. For without your help there could be
no Red Cross. There are no special funds to keep up
its great humanitarian work. The money must come,
as always, from the heart of America—you!
Our duty is clear...we must keep the Red Cross at
the side of our fighting men and our wounded heroes.
We must help the Red Cross in its vital job of sending
food and medicine to war prisoners... aiding the ill and
lonely overseas... collecting life-giving blood plasma.
The scope of the Red Cross is almost limitless. Every

pathy and comfort to your man in uniform.
