Will Arrive on Ramona The Fifth Avenue hutel has been sold, and the new owners, Mrs. M. J. Taylor and her son, H. W. Taylor, for merly of the Bennett Kating House, of Bennett, are on the Ramona, coming north to take charge of the establish ment. The sale was made at Seattle about the first of the month, according to news received on the Amur- Miss L. A. Burke was represented in the ne gotiations by C. C. Runner and the Taylors represented themselves. J. W. Young, whose lease on the hotel has not yet expired, has released the the property. It is understood the consideration for the hotel, which includes real estate, furniture and all other property in use in connection with the hotel, was $15, 000, a considerable amount of which has been paid down in cash. The un paid installments will become due at stated times during the next three years. Mrs H. W. Taylor accompanies her husband and his mother on the Hamo na. C. Humes, formerly judge of the superior court for King county and four times mayor of Seattle* reached this city yesterday afternoon on the Santa Clara. It was received at the wharf by immense crowds of people and sor rowing friends of the deceased. It will be several days before the funeral will be held. It will be a public affair.
