Father Kougis is a Skagway pioneer who is well known to old timers. He was the first man incharge of the *ork for his church in this city. He cared for it in connection with that at Juneau. Douglas, Sitka, Dye* and other towns. It was two years after he began visiting Skagway that Father Tureell relieved him here.
