SUCTION 1 There is hereby levied upon each and evety dog kept and owned within the eitv limits of the Town of Skagway, an annual utx ??f two (2) dollar* per head: ? hivh tax shall be due and payaole on the tii st da\ of October 190t>, and on the Wt i|?y of September of each year there after. SECTION 2 I'pon the payment of laid tax. the. Town's Treasurer shall lraue to the' pervon paving the same a rveelpt speci fy iiiK the owner's name, a brief deecrlpt ion of the dog upon which the tax ft paid, and tlie year for which the tax is paid, and said receipts shall 1* number <'d consecutively. The town Treasurer shall *lso i?sue to such owner a met* I tag. "tamped with the words "l)og Tax Skagwaj " and the vear for whlcti the tax is paid and the tag* ao issued shall alao have s.amped thereon the nittuber thereof corresponding with the number of the two receipt*.
