W AS COMMITTED AS TO the Arkansas Penitentiary by the Ms AT I sheriff' of Pulaski county, on ‘May X -lS-11th. 1857, two runaway slaves, who call * themselves Henry and Mike, and say they belong to Jack Harrison, Hancock county, Georgia, and say they left their master on Christmas day, 1855. DESCRIPTION. HENRY—5 feet inches high, says he is 86 years old; weight, when admitted 200 lbs., and is of a dark copper color, heavy set. and shows the marks on his back of the whip; one of his upper jaw teeth on the right, and two of the lower jaw teeth on the left side out. MIKE—5 feet 8 inches high, says he is 87 years j old; weight, when admitted, 1S1 lbs., and is of a dark mulatto color, bushy hair, has the marks of the whip all over his body, and lost one of his upper jaw teetn on the left and one out on left lower jaw. The owner or owners, are hereby requested to come forward, pay charges and take him away, or said negroes will be dealt with according to law.
