Dr. Charles F. A. Nichell, a native of
Germany, aged about 40 years, residing at

habit of frequenting, at about 0 o'clock,
and four hours later he was discovered
to be dead. The deceased wa3 married.

Pacific Kailroad Company vs. the Superior

iseuance cf a writ of prohibition — a writ in
the nature of a prerogative writ. Writ
denied and dismissed." This
is a railroad tax case, and a motion w?s
made to transfer the case from the Superior
Court of Tuiare county to the United

Superior Judge diemissed. An effort was
then made to remove the caae from tho
S.ate to tho National Court. The Supreme
