We have received dates of the Saturday
Press and Commercial Advertiser, of Hon
olulu, tc the lii tii of December, from which
we have extracted the following items :

Laat Saturday evening twenty-nine lepers
were sent from the branch l«per hospital
to Moiokai by the steamer Makolii. Tne

pital in drays and taken to the little jetty

they were carried in boats to the Mokohi.
There was one Chinaman in the lot ; the
others natives, sixteen males and twelve
females.
