This is to give notice, THAT separate proposals will be received at the office of the Secretary for the Department of War, until the 31« day of October next, in. alusive, for the supply of all rations that may be required for the use of the troops of the United Slates, from the 1st day of June 18IB,inclusive, until the lstdayof June, 1319,within the states, territories, and districts, following, viz. 1« At Detroit, Mich limackinac, Green hay, Tort Wayne, Chicago, and their immediate ♦duties, and at any other place or places where troops are or may be stationed, marched or re cruited within the territory Of Michigan, the vicinity of the upper Lakes, and the state of Ohio, and on or adjacent to the waters of lake Mlctaigon. 2 d.
