v f dare our intent ion to organise ourselves into
a Joint Stock Company, for the purpose of con
structing a Turnpike Hoad, in Diamond Springs
Township, Rl Dorado County, and State ot Cali
fornia, commencing at a point near the Empire
Saw Mill, at the head of Pleasant Valley, in said
Township; thence north-easterly and up the main
fork of Clear Creek, to near the head of the sainr,
interse ting the public road about five miles above
the said Empire Saw-Mill, and near Jo. Drown*»
Hill, above the Atlantic Saw-Mill. Said route it
about five miles long.
The undersigned do hereby give notice that we
w ill Indd a meeting, at the office of the Umpire
Saw-Mill aforesaid, at one of the termini of said
road, on the 11th day of February, A. D. 1881, at
