No New Britain names appear on the list. Private Douglas Hopkins, whose mother's address appears on the casu alty list as Bristol is a Plainville boy. He has been a prisoner for some time and for over three months his where abouts were unknown. He was with Company D from Bristol and lived there before the family moved to Plainville. (Night Report.) The following casualties are report ed b ythe commanding general of the American Expeditionary Forces: Killed in action, 230; died of wounds, 34; died of disease, 48; wounded severely, 64; wounded, de cree undetermined, 104; missing in action, 62; prisoners, 13.
