(AD Mrs. Anna Ptorlazzl, 78, of 258 Ham ilton street fell 15 feet from a root curly today and was instantly killed. She la believed to have wandered out of her bedroom window onto a porch roof during the night and fallen off. She was said to have been despondent over the recent death of a favorite grandson. Owing to lack of time soma of' the smaller boys did not get an opportunity to play, but there Is n0 question that all the potential school champions had a chance to play and John Andrlnl, 14 years of old, of 2S3 Lafayette street came out on top In the final match having defeated Joseph Vin cent, 14 years old of 13 Franklin street, last year's medal winner st St. Joseph's sehonl and James Srheuy, 13, of 52 I.awlor street who was also a runner up. A large num her of girls played at St. Mary's and the championship went to Hazel Glynn, 12 years old, of 95 Smallcy street. The last of the Inter-pehool games, and the final match to determine the city champion will take place at Walnut Hill park at 10 o'clock Sat urday, all the Individual school champions will be presented with medals and there will be a gold medal for the city champion and a silver medal for the runner up. John Mullen, aged about 62 years, died at his home In Kensington at 2 o'clock thla morning. Mr. Mullen was an artesian well driller and had been 111 only a short time. He Is survived by one son, Thomas of Kensington, two daughters, Mrs. Frank McCarthy of Kensington and Mrs. Anne Josephson of New Brit ain, and several grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock from Ft. Paul's church, Kensington. Burial will be St. Mary's cemetery, New Britain. John McHale. News of the death of John McJIale of Shell on was received here this morning. Mr. Mcllale, who Is well known In New Britain is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. M. Keating of iSO Washington street, and Mrs. R. A. LaBranehe of 736 West Main street of New Britain and Helen McHale of Bhelton, and three sens. William and Stephen of Shel ton and Frank of this city. John Alien John Allen. 64, of 603 Church street, died at New Britain General hospital this morning. He leavps one sister, Mrs. Jacob Frit;: of this city, and a number of niece and nephews. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Mrs. .lustina Swanson Mrs. Jtistina .Swanson, 60, of Osgood avenue, died last, night her home. She was the widow Joseph Swanson and has lived New Brltian for 45 years. She la survived by four daughters, Mr. John E. Johnson, with whom she made her home, Mrs. Emil Carlson, Mrs. John Knowles, and Mrs. Qothard Peterson; four sons. AJolph. John, Arthur and Albin; and a number of grandchildren.
