team facing a strenuous week-end,
is reported to be in wonderful shape
for a two nights' hard campaigning.
The five stacks up against tho Dixie
quintet of Hartford ut. Governor's
Foot Guard armory in Hartford Fri
day night and returns home Satur
day night to lay tile ghost In the
form of the Kim City Five ut the
Arch street armory.
Tho Dixies need no introduction to
the fans of this city as their power
and speed is well known through
out tho state. Tho team has the
same speedy hoop tossers on Its
rosier as last yi ar and with the Na
tional Guards going great guns, the
gamp Is sure to be a real scra for
the honors of tho court. Both fives
are being picked in state circles for
the state pennant this year and the
game Friday will mean u great deal
to either combination.
Saturday night's game will be a
hard one for the locals to tackle
after the Dixie game has been play
ed the night before. Were it not for
the excellent shape of the locals,
many are inclined to think that the I

having gone into voluntary training.
