Rule and Regulation of ine Board of Commist'cners of Agriculture and Forestry Concerning the Control of Fungus Orseases on Pineapples. The Board of Commissioners of Ag riculture and. Forestry of Uie Terri tory of Hawaii hereby makes the fol lowing rule and regulation for the purpose : of preventing the spread of a fungus disease upon praeapples which has made its appearance upon the Island of. Kauai: Section L -C All persons and corpor ations are hereby prohibited from carrying, transporting or shipping from the Island of Kauai to any other Island in this Territory any pineapple fruit, pineapple . plant or pineapple sucker. ''-'". Section 2. No pineapple fruity pine-) apple plant or pineapple sucker ship ped from any port of the Island of Kauai to any other port In this Ter ritory shall be allowed to be landed. Inspectors and -other dulj appointed agents of the Board of Agriculture and. Forestry ; are hereby empowered to examine and inspect all freight, baggage and belongings arriving at any port of the Territory from the Island of Kauai and to destroy any and all pineapple fruits, p:ants or suckers found among such freight, baggage or belongings. Any person-violating the above rule shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars, a3 provided by Section 390 of the Revised Laws as amended by Act 82 of the Session, Laws of 1905, and Act 112 of the Session Laws of 1907.
