CHILD DROWNED WHEN
IT TUMBLES INTO DITCH
The two-year-old baby of Joe Cunha.
Camp 4, Makaweli, fell into a ditch!
full of water in front of the Cunha cot-1
tages yesterday morning and was
drowned. -
The mother was engaged in baking
bread and had the child with her. Un
noticed, the little fellow ; . wandered
away. When missed, the mother start
ed a search. It was sometime before
the body was found and then life was
extinct. Garden Island.
