BftlNCKERHOFF In memory : 6t the late Dr. Walter Brinckerhoff, from 1906 until 1910 di rector of the United States leprosy in vestigation station in the city, a hand some bronze tablet, the work of J. Doctor BrlncKerhoff was graduated from Harvard university in 1897. where he specialized in biology, and later at tended the Harvard medical school, graduating with the degree of Kl, D. in 1901. Shortly after his graduation, he entered the Public Health nd Marine Hospital service, and for five years prior to taking up his work; in Hono lulu investigated smallpox in the United States and the Philippines. He died March 2, 1911.
