LONDON The Germanla, a fa
mous racing yacht formerly owned by
nia will be approximately 20 per cent
bach of Germany, which was seized
by the British government at Cowes
at the beginning of the war, has been
sold" for $30,000 to Capt Hannevlg of
Norway. The Germanla twice won
Emperor William's cup at Cowes. She
cost $225,000.
Capt. Hahnevig also purchased the
racing cutter, Paula HI, for $8,000.
The Lasca II. sold for $19,530. Both
these yachts formerly were owned by
Germans, but were seised at Cowes
