In the sundry civil bill there is a clause which authorizes the redemption of the bonds of the Republic ot Hawaii and appropriates over $U,000,0(IO for that pur pose and payment of interest, which will be duo before payment may be made. No Trace of Wreck. San Francisco, March -1. The Japanese divers, who arc proving them selves to bo wonderful workers at extreme depths, wore out again for several hours yesterday trying to locate the wreck of the Rio. On Saturday they began with the red buoy and the spot where Pilot Jordan "located" the wreck', and worked backward and forward for nearly a mile to the west. They changed their tactics yesterday, trying the bottom nearer the shoie and close up the reef.
