lulu on last Saturday's Claudine, and
will remain in Honolulu till the end
of the month.
K. S. Gjerdruni of llonokaa, who
was expected in Wailuku this week
as a -witness sent over a physician's
certificate instead, he being unable to
attend court.

Attorney John Lot Kaulukcu of
Honolulu is on Maui as Commissioner
of Water Rights, and will conduct the
hearing of the Lahaiua case, involv
ing the waters of Kauaha Valley.
J. R. Daggott of San Francisco,
who is largely engaged in tho salmon
fishery trade in northern waters, ar
rived on Maui by Friday night's
Kinau from Hawaii, and will spend
some time with us.

came by Tuesday's Kinau to conduct

C. Percy Morse, tho local freight
agent of tho American-Hawaiian
Steamship Company, has received a
cablegram announplng that the date
of the steamship Nevadun's sailing
from San Francisco for this port has
again been postponed. Tho Nevadun
wus originally scheduled to leave San
Francisco Mar. 18. Owing to delay
at. Kahului the sailing dale was
chanucu to March 25. Now it has
again been altered, presumably for
the last time, to March 29. This
would make tho steamship due hero
early In the morning of April 0. But

bark Mona and the English ship Lady
Cairns collided in the bay today. The
