MORTGAGEE'S NOTICK OI: IN
TENTION TO FORECLOSE
AND Ol- SALE.
Notice is ebrehv given that, under the
power o sale contained in Unit certain
mortgage of dale November i", looS,
from John Santos, of Kamaolc, Kula,
County of Maui, Territory of Hawaii, to
G. Aktinn of said Kamaole, of record iif
the office of the Registrar of Convey
ances, in Honolulu, in Liber 312, on
pages 30, 31 and 32, tlie present owner
and holder thereof intends to foreclose
the same and sell the mortgaged property
therein named because of non-payment
of principal and interest due on the pro
missory note secured thereby. The
above mentioned mortgage was given to
secure the payment of a promissory note
for one thousand dollars, of even date
therewith, payable one year after date,
bearing interest at the rate of oj0 per
annum, executed by said John Jiantos to
G. Akuna.
For value received said promissory
note, together with said mortgage secu
ring payment of the same, was sold and
assigned to the First National Hank of
Wailuku, a corporation, said Hank being
the present owner and holder of said
note and mortgage.
Notice is likewise given that, after the
expiration of three weeks from date of
first publication of this notice, to-wit on
Saturday, December 6th, 1913, at twelve
o'clock noon of said day, the said mort
gaged property, for the reasons above
stated, will be sold at public auction at
the front entrance to the First National
Bank building on Main Street, in the
town of Wailuku, County of Maui, Terri
tory of Hawaii.
Terms of sale cash. Deeds at expense
of purchaser.
