Inora got uway at the drop of Iho flag but at th eighth mile all foil were going as one in two lengths on the track. Sky Boy M. Tashlma's entry with Benny Rollins up took the lead at the quarter and was never headed, finishing three lengths ahead of Co pra who won second place. Radium finished third and Indra fourth. Time 1:06. Pep, entered by K. Goya, Shima buko up, romped down the home stretch and finished winner by a head over Boy in the prettiest race of the days program. Boy was first away as Frank Locey dropped the flag. At the quarter both were go ing as one.
