Mo Neeley, of Philadelphia, act as Secretary until the next meetin prevailed and Mr. Me minutee of the last meeting, which were approved. Mr. M. 8. Kerrigan, chairman of the Executive Committee, stated that no business bad ourae before the eominittee since last meetiug to make a report ne cessary. Rut in view of the propose revision of tbe tariff* by Congress, he effered a resolution authorizing tbe com mittee to increase its number to nine members, so an to enable it forward a delegation to Washington, if necessary, to look after tbe tnteiesta of the trade in connection with tbe tariff*. He did nut think the leather tariff* would be affected, hut it would be well to he prepared for any emergency. Tbe resolution was adopted. The case was tried before Justioe llouden bush,who arrested the father of the de fendant andfined him $10 instead of ia dieting a penalty on the boy. He then directed his legal powers upon the plaintiff, and fined him $0.
