THIRD EDITION. FROM WASHINGTON. THE SILVER PROSPECT |lN THE SENATE —MISSISSIPPI AND HER SENATORS. THE SHOHT-WKlottT CURRENCY Special to the Bald mote Sun, I Washington. Neb. 6.—Senator Alli son, who lias charge of the silver-bill says he intends to use every effort to lui vovit disposed of this Reflfk. »nil that he will ask the Senate 1 sion on Saturday until it [has been finally acted upon. It is doubtful, however, whether Mr. Allison will be able to car ry out his purpose. He thinks the bill is Raining in strength by like debate, and that even a veto cannot defeat it. He thinks the bill will pass kuhstantially as it came from the Senate finance commit tee. and that the weight of the dollar will be fixed at 412l. MISSISSIPPI AND THE »ILVER BILE. A certified copy of the resolutions of the Mississippi Legislature instructing Senators Ilruce ami Lamar to vote for the silver hill is expected here in a day or two. The resolution also instructs them to vote for the repeal of the re sumption act. Col. ClavJ an ex-Coufed orate officer and mem wr of the lower house of the Mississippi Legislature, in troduced a resolution in that body thank ing Mr. Bruce for his voles on the silver question, and asserting that in his course he was reflecting the views of the people of Mississippi. This resolution was pass ed with only four dissenfing votes out of a membership of 121, including only five republicans. Col. Clay has written Mr. Bruce acquainting him k ith this action. Some of the democratic Associates of Mr. Lamar, who are opposed to him on the silver question have heeili poking fun him as not representing jii« constituents. Mr. Bruce is perfectly delighted over the affair so far as it concerns him. He scarcely expected that there would lie a time when the aristocracv of Mississippi •would, through its delegated representa tives, thank him, a colored man, in the name of the State, for his course. He is as smiling as a basket of clips whenever allusion is made to the subject. The President to Visit Phila delphia. I was In a languid, half-alive state, through Innlplent dy-pesla and defective circulation of the btood. Three bottles of the Peruvian Htrup changed this to glowing, hounding health. I have a fine appetite, sleep soundly and can walk Ore miles eaidly without resting, or busy myself out of doors all day long without fatigue. A lady cousin, who resides with me took the Hyrup during her recovery from a serl 111 ness of some weeks. She has been an Invalid for years. Five boules of the Hyrup have se built up her system that sbs now eats quite heartily, sleeps well and oan walk three miles (in fine weather) without fatigue. Gentlemen—Last Spring my little oaughler, aged fl»e became very much emaciated with loss of appetite and great prostration ol strength, so much so that we were obliged to take her out of school. This continued through the Summer, and caused us much anxiety. After trying various remedies without deriving any benefit, our family physician recommend td the use of Peruvian Strup. After using it one week we saw a marked Im provement in the child's condition, aad in a month she was rapidly gaining in health and strength, her appetite being excellent. At this date she is perfectly well, with round, plump cheeks and healthy color, and is again attending school regularly. I consider her restoration to health entirely due to-Uie Pekuvi an Hvrui*, and feel that I cannot too highly recommend it tonic. Very gratefully yours. CHAH. H. COLGATE.
