The cutting dewn of the salaries of State officials still go es bravely on in the House of Delegatee. The salary of county fudges was reduced Thursday to $280; the clerk of the Court of Appeals at Richmond was reduced In pay from f1.000 to $000, and the pay of all the clerks of the district courts was scaled in proportion. This looks like Retrenchment and Reform, but notice the significant fact that the mem bers of the Teghdature have not reduced their pay of "mix dollars a day and roast beef" one dime ! How is that?
