On December 11th it was stated in the oolunins of the Gazette that upon the application of a friend, City Treasurer Vincent wrote to the father of a young man, who wa9 dying in this city, for aid. The father is cashier of a bank in San Francisco, Cal., and the son desired to go home to die.
