A Berlin correspondent of the New York herald summarizes the news from Prof. Nordenskjold's Arctic expedition, and comes to the conclusion that the possibility of a northeast passage has been demonstrated. In 1875 Professor Nordenskjold, who is a Swede, establish ed the navigability of the Sea of Kara, lying north of Russia and east of Nova Zembla. In 1876 he went up a little further, »o tlie mouth of the river Jeues sie, and discovered a hay in longitude about 80 degrees east.
