The netting was held in one ol tho parlors of ho Keystone House with the following rep roentatives iu attendance : Thomas li. h irMere of the Anthracite club of l'otts ri'.Se; A. F. Richter of the Albert Merritt lut», Camden, N. J.; Charles C. Waltt of I ho Quickstep club, Wilmington, Del., and Ell W. Fox of the Active club, this city. l>r. Cook, president of the Harrisbarg Hub, sent a telegram which «stated that it would be impossible for a representative to l>c present from that city. E. O. Immel of this city was admitted as a delegate to represent the Harrisburg club. The meet ing vu organized by the election of Mr. chairman and Mr. Richter as secre tary. Those preteat besides the gentlemen above uamed were Samuel J. Field of this city, John T. West of Wilmington, Del., Jotoph Matlock of Camden, N. J., and re nter» of the city press. Mr. Immel was in favor of limiting the number of clubs in the association to eight, urn! that not more than one club from each city named be admitted. This resulted iu the appointment of Messrs Fielders, Richter a committee to decided upon The committee retired for k I" und Immel membership, del'ilx:ration. They decided to postpone ac tion Iu the matter until the next meeting, which is to be held at the Bingham House, Philadelphia, on Saturday, 25th Inst. The secretary stated that lie was authorized to state that the Burlington and Trenton clubs were detdrous of being ad mitted into tho association.
