It is indicated by a Cross (X) chiseled on the summit of a large diorite bould er, which has also chiseled the letters “U S LM No. 1414” on the side facing south, from which point a mound of stone 6 foot base and six feet high bears North 45° East 7 feet distant, and a cross (X) and B R USLM No. 1414 chiseled on a diorite boulder bears North 22° 29’ East 80.5 feet distant to the center of the cross (X). The variation of the magnetic needle is 29° 50’ East. From the Southeast corner No.4 of the North Star East Extension No. 1 Lode herein described, which is the extreme southeast corner of the area covered by this application, the summit of Mt. BLckburn bears South 33° 42’ West. There are no adjoining mineral claims officially surveyed. The D. C. Sargent Millsite, desig nated as Mineral Survey No. 1414 B, is situated upon non-mineral land adjacent to the lower endline of the Lemon Lode, and begins at Corner No. 1 thereof, a point on the west endline of the Lemon Lode, from which Corner No. 1 of the said Lemon Lode bears North 18 54' East 100 feet distant. U. S. L. M. No. 1414 bears from Corner No. 1 of the D. C. Sargent Millsitc South 85° 52’- 32” East 66").03 feet distant, thence from Corner No. 1 of said millsite South 18° 34’ West along the westerly endline of the Lemon Lode 300 feet to Corner No. 2 of the Millsite, which is identical with Cor ner No. 4 of the Lemon Lode and with Corner No. 1 of the Orange Hill Lode; thence West 435.CO feet to Corner No. 3 of said Millsite; thence North 18° 54’ East 5o0 feet to Corner No. i 4 of said Millsite; i thence East 435.60 feet to Corner ; No. 1, the initial point of beginning first herein described, containing a non-mineral area of 4.730 acres.
