WASHINGTON, April 23.—The
national power combine is abandon

Thirteen distributing companies,
operating In eight States, are openly,
and admittedly behind the latest bid
on the Government'* 1150,000,000
power plant submitted by Thomas
TV. Martin, power king of the South.
Back of these thirteen distribut

Alabama company and the Electric

If you think that the surgeon’s knife
Is the only method of escape from the
misery of plies, it’s because you
haven't heard of the new treatment
known as Dr. Leonhardt’s IfEM-ROID.
The Doctor’s treatment is Internal.
By experimenting for years he discov
ered the exact cause of piles and then
went further and compounded a remedy
that would remove the cause.
Dr. Deonhardt wants every sufferer to
benefit by his discovery and so that
there will be no doubting or delay,
Hook’s Drug Stores and all druggists
are authorized to sell HEM-ROID with
guarantee that It will do as stated or

On that honorable basis every suf
