With cold weather, accompanied by snow and ice, here, motorists should take precautions to protect the radiators of their cars, accord ing to officials of the Hare Chevro let Company, 552 East Washington street, the largest Chevrolet agency in the state. The radiator Is the most impor tant part of an automobile, and without its full efficiency serious troubles may be expected. Every motorist should have the radiator of his car gone over thoroughly by an experienced repair man. The pump packing should be checked, the hose connections replaced if necessary and the entire car gone over in preparation for the rigors of winter. With a leakproof radiation sys tem, the motorist may place a gly cerin compound in the radiator without fear of it leaking. The Hare Chevrolet company em ploys only experienced workmen. Schoon over through Knight, and L. Ray George, Coal Purchaser Relies on Integrity of Dealer Like Appfearance Makes Personal Selection Difficult. Coal, one of the major purchases of the household, next to food is most essential to the life, health and happiness of the home. Yet there probably is no other merchandise purchased for use in the home for which the householder relies so fully upon the honesty and integrity of the dealer. There are several reasons for this. It is not customary in thf pur chase of coal to visit the coai yard and make personal inspection and selection of the particular coe-1 de sired. Even though it were convenient to examine coal before delivery, the many coals of widely different value are very similar in outside appear ances, so that even were it possible for the consumer to visit the coal yard and make his selection of a fuel, he would of necessity have to rely on the coal dealer’s statement as to the kind and grade of coal selected. The Polar Ice and Fuel Com pany, now in its thirty-eighth year, has an incrasing number of patrons each year who leave their fuel prob lems entirely in hands of the com pany, with full confidence that qual ity, price and quantity are assured by the character of the company with which they are dealing. Each year the Polar company has had the satisfaction of noting a ma terial increased sale in volume of each of their products—ice, coal and refrigerators, tending to show public recognition of the economy and sat isfaction of dealing with a concern whose past record is sufficient guar antee to eliminate any doubt as to their methods of doing business.
