h-an, JostPH W. Hollixd. The deceased was born in Boston,
Ma , C. S. A., in Is03, arrived at these Islands in the ship
"Lsa." of Ikwton, Capt. .Martin, in March, lsZ7, and has re-
ird here ever since.
Yesterday, Sept. 16, about noon, at his residence in Honolulu,

C. A. 4 H. F. Poor, in this citv. Mr. Poor was born in Boston,
Mk., L. S. A., tUt Sept., 1(?32; he arrived at these Islands in
As.-J-it, i-54, and was married March 13, 1656, to Miss Caroline
yoiir.scst daughter of Wm. French, Esq.. Honolulu.
widow and two children, and a large and sincei e circle of
friends, mourn the loss in manhood's prime of one so deservedly

Mr. Poor was, at the time of his death, for the second time,
M. of Hawaiian Lodge No. 21. F. & A. M. In Honolulu.
H:s funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon at 4 o'clock,

tion to the lessee.

and descriptions, tools and machinery, vessels at home or abroad,
