Any Church May Enter
> the contest at any time during the campaign. Small
\ churches, as well as large churches, may share in the
1k $500.00 to be given away. The contest continues for
twelve weeks. No cost is entailed by the church or
the individual members, whose interest makes it possi
ble for their church to share in the Cash Prizes. Entries
may be made in behalf of a church by the pastor, offi
cers or any auxiliaries thereof. Votes accumulated
during the campaign may be deposited in the ballot
| boxes weekly or at any time during the twelve weeks.
| Votes deposited which are dated any week of the cam
paign will be honored, those previous to June 2nd will
% be invalid.
| How To Make Your Church a Leader
I When you buy from the merchants advertising on this
page, you will get votes for your church at the rate of
one VOTE for each penny of the purchase price. If
? you are a credit buyer, one vote is credited with each
v penny you spend on your account. Cash legistei re
t ceipts or ordinary sales slips are given face value penny

Reports from Campaign Man
ager Virgil Vandenburg, of the
Metropolitan Community Center,
41st street and South Parkway,
stated this week that Community
is already out in front and
through h:s organized band of
leaders and appeals made to the
more than 2,000 members of Me
tropolitan Community Center, he
feels certain that they will poll
more than the 20,000 votes neces
ssary to win first prize money.
The check up will be made the
last Sunday in July to determine
the July winners. “Metropolitan
is one of the largest and best rec
ognized institutions in Chicago
and *.ve will not fall short of any
thing we undertake,” declared
Vanderburg, Tuesday.
Many inquiries and further reg
istration is steadily flowing into
^rraritan Headquarters. Great
•v Bettmsda is reported to have
renewed its effort for First
Prize Money, and intends to be
out to lead over Monumental,
Progressive Baptist, Metropolitan,
Prairie Avenue Baptist and all
others who are expressing a de
termination to cop the first place
