Seetion 1. The following arts are
hereby forbidden on govern inent

troying, girdling, rhopping, injur
ing or otherwise damaging, or the
removal, of any thnlier, young tree
growth, or any other material, ex
cept as authorized liy )ermit from
tlie Superintendent of Forestry.
(h) Tlii' grazing of any livestock,
except as authorized hy permit from
the Superintendent of Forestry.
(e) The hunting of any wild
animals, except as authorized by
permit from the Superintendent of
Forestry.
(d) Having or leaving in an ex
posed or insanitary condition camp
refuse or dehris of any description,
ordepositing or lieing or going there
on and depositing in the streams or
other waters within or hordering
upi n government lands in the forest
reserves any suhstance or suhstances
which pollute or are liable to cause
pollution of the said streams or wa
ters. (e) The going on or being upon
government lands within a forest
reserve with intent to destroy, mol
est, disturb, or injure property be
longing to the Territory of Hawaii,
or used by the Territory of Hawaii
in the administration of the forest
reserves.
( f ) The wilful tearing down, de
facing, or disturbing of any public
notice or survey monument posted
within a forest reserve.
(g) Squatting upon government
land in a forest reserve, or construct
ing or maintaining any kind of
w iks, structure, fi ne;-, inclosure,
road or trail, without a permit, ex
cept a otherwise allowed by law.
(h) The tearing down, breaking
down or through, or molesting in
any manner of a forest reserve boun
dary fence or gate or a fence or gate
on government land within a forest
reserve.
Section 2. Any person violating
the above rule shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor ami upon conviction
thereof shall be punished by a fine
not to exceed five hundred dollars

Section 3. Thin rule shall take
effect upon its approval by the Gov
