Although still a very young actress, with a future before her, Miss O Neil has enjoyed a rare experience in her art. Serving an apprenticeship under McICee Rankin himself, one of tlie best teachers, as well as a grand actor, she has acquired unconscious ly tlie repose of the old, while alert to all tlie nascent life-stirrings of the new, thus fusing the best elements of both. During her engagement in the city will be seen in twelve of her most powerful characterizations, beginning with Sunderniann's master play "Mag da."
