LONDON. June 15. The YachtlnB
World today says: Further unexpected
difflcultles have been met In the con
struction of the Shamrock, and, though
none of them will permanently affect
the boat, they have delayed the work so
that her launch is impossible before tho
last day of the month, and some modi
fications of tho arrangements of the
sailing trials have been rendered neces
sary by the delay In her construction.
When she Is launched she will be taken
to Fay's yard, at Southampton, to be
finished there. All her standing and
running gear Is completed, and It Is ex
pected that, once launched anu her
masts stepped, her outfit will bo finish
ed In a day or two.
LONDON, June 16. Tho Times says
this morning: The hull of the Sham
rock Is made of a new alloy of extreme
lightness and strength. Nothing could
be smoother than the underwater sur
face It mokes. The yacht Is unlike the
later challengers In many respects, but
the model, except In the matter of
draught, Is largely that of the fifty-two
rater Saint, though it -embodies much of
whnt was successful In the Ailsa. The
following are her dimensions: Length
over all, 123 feet; length on load water
line, 89 feet; beam, 22 feet; length from
bowsprit end to main boom end, 190
feet: her draught of 19 feet 9 Inches and
the height from deck level to topmast
head, Is 138 feet.
It Is Improbable that she will race on
this side of the Atlantic.

my nervous system gave way I was
attacked by St. Vitus' dance. I was
in an awful condition and had very
