The agricultural exhibits came in
some of them on the steamer this
morning, but the doors of the drill ;hed
will not be open to the public until
noon on Monday. Refreshment privi
leges have been extended to the Ho
nolulu Candy Company and the New
England Bakery who will occupy two
stands in the space between the drill
Flied and the pavilion. Many of the
:,tock raisers have voiced their wisiieu
that an exhibition f stock, cattle,

not been arranged In connection with
the agricultural fair, and the whole
exhibit placed at Kaplolnnl Park in

The automobile race has been called
off, none of the autos in town being

A baseball came between the AH
Maul and the H. A. C. will be played
on Monday afternoon on Oahu Col
lege campus and All-Mau! against All
Honolulu on Tuesday afternoon.
BANGALORE ARRIVES.
The American ship Bangalore, Cap
tain Blanchard, arrived this morning
from Tocopilla, via Hilo, in ballast. The
vessel comes here under charter to load
sucar for Castle and Cooke ana c,
Brewer and Company. Captain Blan
chard reports an uneventful trip, -with
excellent weather. He came up In 47
days and put into Hilo July 22 for or
ders. Want ads in Star cost but 25 cents.
