Times of the tide are taken from the
U. S. Coast and Geodetic Survey ta
bles. The tides at .ahulu. and Hllo
occur about one hour earlier than at
Honolulu. Hawaiian standard time Is
10 hours 3w minutes slower than Green
wich time, being that of the meridian
of 157 degreess 30 minutes. The time
whistle blows at 1:30 p. m., which is
the same as Greenwich, J hours, 0 min
utes. The Sun and moon are for local
time for the whole group.
