A. building Jn April, 1883, was removed this morning and' will oveni'ually find Its way into one of the two cornerstones of the new Y. M. C. A. buildings the second cor ner stone to contain paper, records, etc., of the present day. The box was found to be of copper and was perfectly preserved. The work of getting it out was quite diffi cult, it! beng necessary to go through an outer covering of brick, a substruc ture of sandstone and finally a marble plato. Before transferring the contents of this box to the nw building, the con tainer will be opened and the old docu ments re-examined. This will be done at a dinner to be given some ovening in honor of ilioso who were members of the Y. M. C. A. in 1883 when the original corner stone was laid. SCHOOLS OF CULTURE MR. MORGAN RETURNS.
