Kawahahec, but the latter has .to serve a sentenco of nine months' Im prisonment for his attack on the officer. Olesen was participating in the raid and heard cries of help from the pollco chauffeur. Then, when Oleson had Kawahahee apparently secure, David ran to get Chief Detcctivo McDuffie, but ho had hardly got -out of sight before Kawa hahec, who Is a powerfully bult young fellow, wrenched himself free from Oleson, planted a blow on the bridge of Oleson's nose, knocked him down and then proceeded to pummel him up. Oleson received a black eye, his Hp was cut, his cheek swollen, but he stuck to Kawahahee as best ho was able, until tho latter got away again. Ho was quickly re-arrested, his shirt and pants covered with bloodstains. Kawahahee pleaded not guilty but afttr hearing ho evidence tendered in behalf of tho police ho declined to take the stand in his own defence and admitted knowing that Oleson was an officer. Rawlins represented Okita at a previous appearano In the police court, but yesterday ho stated that he had withdrawn from the case and announced to the court that Okita was being held In the Oahu Jail charged with a breach of the Internal Revenue laws.
