in support of his claim, and that said
proof, "will be made before register and
receiver of the land office at Wa-Keeney,

25 w, in Trego county, Kansas, with a
view to the cancellation of 'said entry;
contestant alleging that Charles A
Jarvis has failed to plant or cause to be
planted any portion of said land to
trees, seeds or cuttings since date of
entry; that no portion of said land
has been cultivated in any manner since
lSSOthetsaid parties are hereby sum
moned to appear at this office on the 7th
day of Sept., 1885, at 9 o'clock a. m., to
respond and furnish testimony concerning
said alleged failure.
