Raymond Nelson, teacher School Notes Three new boys added to room number 3! At tresent there are 29 1 pu pils and 9 teachers in the build ing. Rose Parks was promoted from the sixth grade to the sev enth at the end of the first month of school. , The Bronson baby with her big dog as escort made an unex pected call at the school house one morning this week.. Miss Jane Wilson has taken Miss Larabee's place as assist ant in the Primary room. The enrollment there has reached sixty -five. The boys of rooms number 3 and 4 play a matched game of ball once a week. Last week the score was 13 to 14 in favor of room number 4. It is said that the school board is planning to provide - the play grounds with suitable apparatus similar to that of the Ellis schools. Ellis has the reputation of hav ing the best equipped grounds in western Kansas. Pupils of room number 3 are getting the benefit of the music and singing of room number 4 this year. The two rooms hold their chapel exercises together. Marjorie Gibson and Liois Drum mond are the organists, and Mr. Nelson leads the singing. Mr. Joseph A. Razak and Miss Grace I. Seirer, both of Collyer, were married in the parlor of the Trego House in tne presence of a few friends and relatives Wednesday morning. The Pro bate Judge propounded the usual interrogatives which were sat isfactorily answered and the merry party autoed back to Coll yer in the Vince Razak equipage. Chas. Thiel was down from Collyer last Monday attending to business and made us an agreeable call. Mr. Thiel thinks Collyer is one of the coming towns of the west and says lots of building is going on. The Ladies' Aid Society of the Presbyterian church will meet with Mrs. T. B. Hays, Thursday afternoon, October J4. .
