There will be a Township 'Sunday School Convention at Ogallah, April 30th. - Ora Cruson and Miss Gertrude Warren were married in Cheyenne Wells, April 17th. Tawnev & Smith have put in a larere refrigerator and shipped - in a car of ice. They ""will handle fresh meats this summer. There will be a new barber shon opened soon in the Davidson build ing. MacIonald was called and he was able to return home in a few hours. It is reported that Marquand Bros. are figuring on reducing" their build ing to one story and will brick it in. This will enlarge the store but will cut Ogallah out of a good hall. BIG CREEK Miss Bertha Glass is quite sick. Fred Egger is painting his house. Willie Glass is wrestling the measles. Mr. and Mrs. John Wagg are down with the measles. Mr. and Mrs.iWm. "Nelson attended the Thompson sale Tuesday. Prof. Tenbyck bought a black team at the Thompson sale Tuesday for $602.50. Mr. Neigle has bought the east half of the southeast quarter of sec tion 21, 13, 21. Jacob Wendling has bought ft, farm over near the Saline and expects to get onto it this fall. Rev. E. E. Gunckel was down on business last Monday and spent the day with Mr. Barclay. E. M. Wasner of Riverside, was supplying the boys with sorghum and millet seed last Saturday. The school in district 13 closed last Friday with a very nice program and the children all acquitted themselves splendidly. Alter the program an partook of a bountiful dinner which everybody enjoyed and there was enough to feed as many more. After dinner the crowd all settled down to view the ball game. Glenn's place and all the curious are wondering if he is going to do his cooking alone. Mrs. Moser has had a very sick baby at Mrs. Guschewsky's, but un der "Dr. Isenberger's care, it is. con valescing nicely. Mr. Holt and family have the sym pathy of all in the sudden death of their oldest daughter on Tuesday. Remains were taken to Morland for burial. Our butchers have done one good turn for the farmers if they never do any more. Cash for eggs is only just as it should be and all hope the good work will continue.
