She leaves Louisville on another trip on Thursday nest, and will be here at her usual time on Fri day. The Jamas Montgomery will be due here to-day. Clay came near losing bis life the othur day, be ing brushed by a falling tree. This is a niw and we should judge unprofitable method of grazing cattle. Some poor fellows have the misfortune to always be the subject of practical joke. In such case3 it is very generally true that the butt of the joke can't see tho point of it. , Mr. Holt is lessening our mail facilities in all directions. He is the greatest mail-eon-tractor in the country. One would think that a writing master of all others must drive the most profitable trade, as he is always engaged in a flourish ing business.
